"As Dores da Alma" is an impactful exhibition featuring Amanda Barroso, an emerging artist from Valinhos, in a milestone showcase of her 10-year journey. Centered on mental health, this exhibit presents her series *As Dores da Alma*, capturing raw emotions like anxiety, depression, and peace through evocative visuals. Created during a period of personal struggle, the works aim to start meaningful conversations around mental health and bring these topics to light.
Produced by Tomás Cajueiro for Ocupe.Arte, this exhibition fosters community reflection on mental health and support for emerging talent. Winner of the 2024 Paulo Gustavo Award for Visual Arts, it is the first in Ocupe.Arte’s 'Plataformas' series, a project offering resources and mentorship to young artists in Valinhos.
