Role: executive producer
Who are the people behind the artworks we see in museums and galleries? What are their processes, spaces, and families like? These are questions whose answers we often do not know as there is often a significant gap between the artist and the people who consume their work. To bridge part of this gap and bring the public closer to the artists, increasing interest in art and culture, the series 'Além das Conversas' produced a documentary composed of four episodes, each approximately 20 minutes long, focusing on four artists from Valinhos: Klau Itami, Marcos Oliveira, Eliete Tordin, and Helena Giestas. Through the engaging format of storytelling, it provided an intimate and authentic view of the artists, revealing unknown aspects of their lives and inspirations.
To ensure broad access, all materials have translations into sign language and audio descriptions.
This series was a continuation of "Conversas," launched by the same Ocupe.Arte in 2018, and promised to take viewers on a profound journey through the creative worlds of local artists.
The project came to life with the support of the Valinhos Municipal Department of Culture through the Paulo Gustavo grant.
